    Chapter Index

Boss Zhao smiled and said, “They are good people, and if one is missing, the other two, will come here and miss him.”

Ang Lee and Darryl Hsu, both of whom have been absent before.

    “I should get back.”

“Won’t you join them for a drink?”

“They’re having a good time, so I’ll leave them alone.”

“Then you will wait a moment.”

Boss Zhao went into the kitchen and took out a jar of wine.

“Here’s a fine wine I’ve been saving for years, for you, to celebrate your safe return. Welcome home.”

He was like family and was happy for me.

“I’m in the martial arts, I’ve met a friend, next time I have a chance, I’ll introduce you guys to each other.”

    “Yeah.”

He never dreamed that the person I was talking about was the Martial Arts Alliance Master. Perhaps, one day, the Martial Alliance Master, too, will come to his tavern to drink.

    “Thanks for the drink.”

I bid him farewell and left the tavern.

I bathed in the moonlight and returned home. There were two more people I wanted to see, High Moon and Sect Leader Windy Sky. I couldn’t wait to fly over there immediately, but they were, at the moment, too far away from the Heavenly Demon God Sect.

I’ve been away from the Heavenly Demon God Sect for too long, and I still have a lot of things to do, so I can only wait until later, to visit them. I’m sure that they won’t worry because, well, we’re together.

I was about to go back to my room when I suddenly changed my mind and headed towards the Drunken Immortal Building. I wanted to drink, and the Drunken Demon, was the perfect drinking companion.

The Drunken Devil was indeed in the Drunken Dream House, drinking alone.

The maid, Yu Bing, held the boat and sent me to the island at the center of the lake.

“Drunken Devil-sama, do you still drink a lot these days?”

“Much less than before, only one pot today.”

    “That’s good.”

    “It’s all thanks to you.”

“What does this have to do with me? This is all due to Miss Yu, you have to take good care of him.”

I know that Yu Bing likes Drunken Devil, so I deliberately said that. It would be even better if she could become Drunken Devil’s wife.

I’d love to set them up, but I’m afraid of messing it up and ruining their bond.

The Drunken Devil stood by the railing of the Drunken Dream Building and waved at me.

    I shouted, “Big brother!”

It was just the two of us, so I could address him as I pleased. The Drunken Demon had a happy smile on his face when he heard me address him.

    “Dude, you’re here?”

“I was afraid that our poor fourth brother, drinking alone, would be too lonely, so I came to see you.”

“Who says I’m the fourth brother? I’m the third brother!”

The boat docked and I walked into the Drunken Dream House.

“Why are you here all of a sudden?”

    “Wanted a drink.”

“Come on, let’s not get drunk!”

The Drunken Devil and I, started drinking. We didn’t speak, just drank quietly.

The Drunken Devil knows a lot about wine and the human heart. He knows that I, right now, just want to drink quietly and not talk.

“I just went hunting, with my father.”

“This time, you guys seem to have been gone for a long time? That’s awesome, I can’t stand it, I’ll go crazy if I’m alone with the godfather for that long.”

“Maybe, you’ll find that to be a fun thing to do.”

Drunken Devil shook his head in disbelief.

If he saw his father cooking, he would be amazed. Unfortunately, I can’t tell him.

“When I talked to my father, I realized that he seemed to admire the Poison King and the Fist Demon.”

“If it’s someone the Sect Leader admires, it should be the Fist Demon.”

    Drunken Devil affirmed.

    “Not the Poison King?”

“The Sect Master doesn’t like to use poison, although he hasn’t said so, we all know. The Poison King also knows, but he pretends not to know.”

“Then why does he appreciate the Fist Demon?”

Although I have investigated the information of the Demon Exalted, after I was reborn, I realized that in order to truly understand a person, we must personally contact, personally communicate, and personally feel. Even then, we may not be able to fully understand a person. The same is true for the Fist Demon.

“I had a drink with the Fist Demon, alone, once.”

    “How does it feel?”

The drunken demon looked into his glass, remembering the meeting, and then, took a sip of his drink.

“He’s a, uh, tough opponent to beat.”

This is the first time I’ve ever, heard a drunken demon, speak so highly of a person.

“Why are you telling me this?”

“I want you, to pull the Fist Demon, together.”

The Drunken Demon was a bit worried, “At this time now, if you go and provoke the Fist Demon, the Grand Duke won’t stand idly by.”

“I just want him, out of the way.”

    “What do you mean?”

“It’s about time we, officially, went to war.”

The Drunken Devil understood what I meant, and in his eyes, he also lit up with a burning desire to fight.

    “Are you sure?”

    “I believe you.”

In order to deal with Big Brother, I actually have to rely on Big Brother’s supporters, the Drunken Demon laughed and shook his head, picking up the empty wine jug.

“Hearing you say that makes me want to drink again.”

I took the last of my drink and poured it into his glass.

“Don’t drink, from now on we have to stay sober.”

The next afternoon, I went to the East Fist Gate to visit the Undefeated Fist Demon.

“I want to see Lord Fist Demon.”

The Iron Fist disciples guarding the gate, looked at me in surprise because, as we all know, the Fist Demon is on the side of the Grand Duke.

    “Please follow me.”

A disciple, brought me to the Fist Demon’s residence.

Along the way, the gazes of all the Iron Fist disciples were focused on me. They were dressed in white, cyan, red, and black, representing different ranks. Their genders, ages, and physiques, were all different, but they all had one thing in common.

They were all bare-handed and did not use any weapons.

I walked among these, martial artists who had dedicated their lives to boxing, and in my heart, I was filled with respect.
