    Chapter Index

I’ve arranged for the boss’s wife of the Thousand Flowers Mansion to temporarily live in one of the Heavenly Demon Sect’s secret strongholds in Guizhou. It’s heavily guarded and full of organs, so there’s no need to worry about security.

Before leaving, the boss’s wife didn’t forget to ask me to take care of Li An.

“Please be sure to take care of your guards, my lord.”

It seems that her previous comments about Ang Lee were not polite remarks.

“I should be the one asking her to take care of me.” I said with a smile.

The boss’s wife smiled weakly and said nothing more.

I knew that the bond between her and I was just beginning.

After saying goodbye to the owner’s wife, we set off on our journey once again.

“Evil Demon Lord, those people will likely attack again, so be careful.” I warned.

“You’d better worry about yourself.” The Extremely Evil Evil Demon said in disbelief.

“What have I got to worry about?”

“If they can’t kill me, they will turn their target to you.” The Extremely Evil Evil Demon sneered, “After all, you are the son of a Heavenly Demon, and killing you will enrage the Sect Master even more.”

“Would you be angry if I died?” I asked.

“For the sake of the Sect Leader, I will also act like I’m angry.” The Extremely Evil Evil Demon smiled and said, “That’s good, the Sect Master will forgive me for whatever I do in the future.”

Although he was joking, I could sense that the anger in his heart was building up and could explode at any time.

And those behind it are finding ways to set him off.

I poked my head out the window and watched the scenery fly by. In the distance, a steep cliff came into view.

I once climbed that cliff, and I’ve traveled almost the entire Central Plains in search of materials for refining magic treasures.

I originally thought that after being reborn, I would spend more time on cultivation, but I didn’t expect that this life would be even busier than the last.

“You two, not a word? Have a chat.” I retracted my gaze and said to Li An and Green Face who were sitting in the carriage.

“Senior brother, please, don’t torture me anymore.” Li An immediately transmitted his voice to me, “I’m already embarrassed enough.”

“Awkward? Are you going to stay embarrassed?”

“I still think it’s better not to say anything.”

Just then, Qingmian suddenly spoke up and asked, “Miss Li, what do you think of this errand?”

His question took both Liam and I a bit by surprise.

“As you can see, my master is not a man to be served.” Liam replied.

    Greenface nodded slightly in understanding.

“What about you, Brother Green Face? What do you think of this errand?” Li An asked.

    “I’m fine.” Greenface replied briefly.

If they were on better terms, Liam would have said, “You’re embarrassing me by saying that.”

But that was the end of their conversation.

It’s okay, at least they’ve started communicating, and I’m sure one day they’ll be great friends who can’t stop talking.

I sat back down in the carriage and said to the extremely evil Evil Demon, “A great man should be broad-minded, why are you so nosy?”

I know he hates being called “nosy”.

“I’m not being nosy, I’m just tired of seeing you two being stuffy and not saying a word.” The Extremely Evil Evil Demon retorted.

“Are you so concerned about us that you want to take off my mask too?” I asked with a smile.

“Perhaps.” The Extremely Evil Evil Demon didn’t deny it.

“My lord, you’re just being nosy.”

When he finished, he stopped paying attention to me and turned his head to look out the window.

I smiled and looked out the window as well.

The cliffs that once haunted me have disappeared from my sight.

The carriage continued to move forward and eventually stopped at a lively street.

The surrounding vendors all wore surprised expressions when they saw the three of us strange men wearing masks getting off the carriage.

Green Face walked in front, and Extreme Evil Demon and I followed behind.

“Sword Prince, do you have money on you?” The Extremely Evil Evil Demon suddenly asked.

    “Brought it, why?”

“If you bring money, go to the casino and lose it all.” The Extremely Evil Evil Demon said with a smile.

“Aren’t you afraid that I, the sleeping god of gambling, will wake up and win your casino over?” I asked rhetorically.

The Extremely Evil Evil Demon smiled disdainfully.

We walked into an alley and came to an unassuming wooden door.

Pushing the door open, a very different world appeared before us.

It was a massive casino, ten times bigger than I had imagined. Its area, even larger than the Demon Sect’s martial arts arena, was packed with people of all shapes and sizes.

Hundreds of tables were crowded with crazed gamblers, with scantily clad beauties weaving in and out, serving them tea.

They were all so caught up in the excitement of gambling that they didn’t even notice us weirdos in masks.

“This place is bigger than I thought.” I lamented.

“To tell you an even more shocking news, the revenue of this casino is even higher than the Thousand Flower House.” The Extremely Evil Evil Demon said.

“The people from the Evil Dao Alliance have always wanted to get a piece of the pie here, while the people from the Martial Arts Alliance want to eradicate it completely.” The Extremely Evil Evil Demon continued, “Those hypocrites, they always say that gambling harms people, but in reality, they just don’t want us to make money. How about it? Still satisfied with my casino?”

“Seeing so many people addicted to gambling makes me want to wake them all up.” I said.

“Then you’ll have to be a vegetarian from now on.” The Extremely Evil Evil Demon said with a smile.

“I don’t interfere in people’s lives.” I said, shaking my head.

The dangers of gambling go far beyond that.

Those gamblers who have lost their eyes will resort to borrowing from loan sharks or even stealing and robbing in order to turn over their capital, and eventually their families will be broken up and their wives separated.

Seeing the Extreme Evil Demon suddenly appear, the person in charge of the casino hurriedly ran over to greet him.

They all trembled in fear at the sight of the extremely evil evil demon.

We followed the man in charge, to a plush office.

“Gongzi, do you want to play a couple games?” The Extremely Evil Evil Demon suddenly asked.

“Aren’t you afraid I’ll lose all your money?” I asked rhetorically with a smile.

“Didn’t you say you were the God of Gamblers? Let me see what you can do.”

“Alright, I’ll play one.” I said, walking over to a gambling table and sitting down.

I picked up the dice cup, shook it skillfully a few times, and then snapped it on the table.

The Extremely Evil Evil Demon looked at me with interest.

I opened the dice cup and the dice inside was a “small”.
