Chapter 0080 – Even If I Will Be Famous One Day – Absolute Returns
by GreatBrother(위대한 다오 형제)I finally, have a, trusted, military advisor!
“In the future, between you and me, don’t, use honorifics anymore.” I looked at Lonely Moon and said with a smile, “We, are friends and brothers.”
“Good.” Lonely Moon nodded and smiled.
I looked at the man in front of me, who was finally smiling, with joy and anticipation.
I know that I, from this day forward, will no longer be alone!
“Your body, it hasn’t fully recovered yet, rest for a few days first.” I looked at Lone Moon and said with concern.
“I, am fine.” Lonely Moon shook her head and said, “I, can’t, wait, to, serve, the Young Lord.”
“There’s no rush.” I said with a smile, “We, still, have plenty of time.”
“I, want to ask you, a question.” Lonely Moon looked at me and said.
“What’s the problem?” I asked.
“If, in the future, you find, a better warlord than me, what will you, do?” Lone Moon looked at me and asked, with a hint of imperceptible …… uneasiness in her tone?
“I’ll make him, your second-in-command, to assist you.” I looked at Lone Moon and said with a smile, “Well? This answer, are you satisfied?”
“Satisfied.” Lone Moon nodded and smiled.
“Don’t you, ever, feel, lost?” I asked, looking at Lone Moon.
“No.” Lonely Moon shook her head and said, “I, came here, not in order to, compete with you, for power and profit, or to, climb the ladder with you. I, just want, to do my best, to assist you, to accomplish something.”
“Good!” I patted Lone Moon’s shoulder and said with a smile, “With your words, I’m relieved.”
“I, for one, believe you.” Lone Moon said, looking at me.
“I believe you too.” I said, looking at Lone Moon.
We smiled at each other and it was all over.
“I, once, listened to a, warlord, whom I respect a lot, say something.” I looked at Lone Moon, and said, “He said that a good military advisor is, to be smarter than the enemy’s military advisor.”
“My opponent, is, who?” Lone Moon asked, looking at me.
“It’s, all, the people who want, to stand in our way.” I said in a firm tone as I looked at Lone Moon.
“I see.” Lonely Moon nodded and said.
“I, need you, to help me, build an, intelligence organization.” I looked at Lonely Moon, and said, “I want you, to control, the entire Central Plains, of, all intelligence.”
“Yes.” Lone Moon answered.
“I want you, to build an, even more powerful, intelligence organization than the Tong Tian Pavilion.” I looked at Lone Moon and said in a firm tone.
“Yes.” Lone Moon answered again.
“Are you, confident, in accomplishing this mission?” I looked at Lone Moon and asked.
“Of course.” Lone Moon looked at me and smiled, “I’m, but, your armorer.”
A few days later.
Lonely Moon, has been at my place, recuperating.
I didn’t arrange for him, a separate place to stay.
Because, I want him, first, to familiarize himself with, my living environment and get to know, the people around me.
“You, up?” I looked at Lone Moon and smiled.
“Young Lord, did you, last night, sleep well?” Lone Moon looked at me and asked.
“Good.” I said with a nod.
“Young Lord, do you, today, have any plans?” Lone Moon looked at me and asked.
“Here, take it.” I said, handing a stack of silver tickets, to Lone Moon.
“This is ……,” Lone Moon asked, looking at me in disbelief.
“Establishing an intelligence organization requires money.” I looked at Lonely Moon and said, “This money, you take it first, if it’s not enough, tell me again.”
Lonely Moon took the silver ticket, and after a cursory glance, he knew that it was at least a million taels of silver.
However, he didn’t show the slightest surprise, and only asked lightly, “Young Lord, are you, not afraid that I, with this money, will run away?”
“If you dare to run, I’ll send someone, to bring you back.” I looked at Lone Moon and said with a smile.
“And then what?” Lone Moon asked, looking at me.
“And then, I’m going to take you, and lock you back up, and give you, to the person I hate the most.” I looked at Lone Moon and smiled.
Lonely Moon couldn’t help but laugh at his words.
“You, Young Lord, are so good at jokes.” He said with a smile.
“Come on, let’s go out to eat.” I looked at Lone Moon and said.
We walked out of the room to the Majestic.
“Sect Master Feng Tian, recently, often comes here to eat.” I looked at Lonely Moon and said, “It looks like he, as if, wants to see you.”
Sect Leader Windy Sky, has already come to Windy Elegance House, twice.
Each time, he ordered a table of food, but just, alone, ate and drank in silence, as if, he was thinking of someone, and as if, he was waiting for someone.
“He, is trying to get me, to go back.” Lone Moon said faintly.
“Will you, uh, go back?” I asked, looking at Lone Moon.
“No.” Lonely Moon said, shaking her head.
“Good.” I nodded and said, “Let’s, uh, go up.”
We came to the second floor, and Sect Leader Windy Sky, was sitting by the window, alone, drinking mulled wine.
He saw us and froze.
He, didn’t think that we would, come together.
He, more than anything, didn’t think that Lone Moon, would, stand by my side.
“You …… you guys ……”
He looked at us, his eyes full of mixed emotions: surprise, anger, sadness, and …… a hint of …… regret he didn’t even want to admit to himself?
“Sect Leader Feng Tian, goodbye.” I looked at Sect Leader Windy Sky and said with a smile.
“Simon the Snow Blower, you ……” Windy Sky Sect Leader looked at me and said through gritted teeth, “What, exactly, do you want?!”
“I, just came, to, with my Military Master, to have a meal.” I looked at Sect Leader Feng Tian and said indifferently.
“Warlord?” Sect Master Windsky looked at Lonely Moon with a look of disbelief in his eyes.
“Not bad, Armsmaster.” I nodded and said, “From today, he, is my Warlord.”
“You …… you ……”
Sect Master Windsky was trembling with anger, but he was speechless.
He knew that he, had, completely, lost him.
He, lost.
Lose, lose, lose!
He had, lost, what he held most dear.
He, lost, the person he trusted the most.
He, lost, everything he had!
Him, nothing!
“Sect Master Feng Tian, are you, well?” Lonely Moon looked at Sect Leader Feng Tian and asked, with a hint of imperceptible …… concern in her tone?
“I, am fine.” Sect Leader Windsky forced a smile and said, “I, am fine.”
He, did not want, to show, in our presence, his weakness.
He, didn’t want, us, to see, his pain.
He, only wanted to, preserve, his last, dignity.
“That’s good.” Lonely Moon nodded and said, “We, for one, will leave you alone.”
When he finished, he turned, and walked toward me.
“Let’s go.” I said, looking at Lone Moon.
We, together, left the Windjammer House.
Leaving Sect Leader Windy Sky, alone, sitting by the window, silently, drinking mulled wine.
His back, appeared, incomparably, forlorn and lonely.
I, for one, have not the slightest sympathy.
Because, I, am, the winner!
