    Chapter Index

“Go, call that …… over.” Sect Leader Windsky commanded.

“Yes, Sect Master.” The guards answered and turned to leave.

I looked at Sect Leader Windy Sky, the corners of my mouth rose slightly, revealing an imperceptible smile.

My purpose, I knew, had been served.

After Jian Wuji left, the atmosphere in the room, at once, became somewhat awkward.

Although Sect Master Windy Sky knew that he was a bit out of line just now, he couldn’t pull off an apology and could only sulk and drink mulled wine.

“I …… I just now, didn’t mean it.” In the end, he couldn’t help but open his mouth and said, with a hint of apology in his tone that he himself didn’t even notice.

The man in shackles, however, remained silent as if he hadn’t heard him, his head still lowered.

“I …… am talking to you, didn’t you hear me?!” Seeing that he didn’t respond for half a day, Sect Leader Windy Sky was enraged, slamming the table and roaring.

His roar, however, did not receive any response from the other party.

The man, still with his head bowed, was silent, as if he were a statue that had remained unchanged for ages.

    “You …… you ……”

Sect Master Windsky was trembling with anger, but he didn’t know what to say to make it better.

He felt like a jumping clown, a man who was there to direct himself, while the other party, always indifferent, stood by with cold eyes.

This feeling made him feel incredibly humiliated and angry!

“What do you think, what are you? You are nothing but a slave, a plaything of mine!” He roared, “If I tell you to live, you live, if I tell you to die, you die! What qualifications do you have, to pose with me here?!”

However, his roar of anger still didn’t get any response from the other party.

The man, still with his head down, was silent, as if he hadn’t heard him at all.

“You …… you speak to me! Are you mute?!” Sect Master Feng Tian completely lost his mind and violently stood up, grabbing the wine glass on the table and ruthlessly smashing it at the man.

    Snap!

The glass smashed into the man’s head, splitting it in two, and blood flowed slowly down his forehead.

The man, however, still didn’t dodge, and didn’t even frown, as if he couldn’t feel any pain at all.

    “You …… you ……”

Sect Leader Windsky froze as he looked at the scene in front of him.

How could he not have expected that he would lay such a harsh hand on someone who had no power to fight back?

He …… What the hell is wrong with him?

Why is he the way he is?

He looked at the man, his eyes full of complex emotions: anger, humiliation, remorse, and …… a hint of …… fear he didn’t want to admit to himself!

“You …… you get out of here! Get out!”

In the end, he could only wave his hand feebly, as if he were trying to chase away something terrible.

The man, finally, looked up at him.

Those eyes, calm and unruffled, yet they seemed to see through everything.

Then he stood up and turned to leave the room without a word.

Sect Leader Windsky looked at his back and opened his mouth, wanting to say something, but in the end nothing came out.

He crumpled into a chair, covered his face with his hands, and groaned in pain.

He wondered what was wrong with him.

All he knew was that he seemed to have done something wrong, and, moreover, an unforgivable mistake!

I stood in the Blood Heavenly Dao Demon’s compound and watched Xi Da Long sweating and practicing his sword technique not far away.

He is no longer that fledgling brat, now he is, the more old and ruthless knife skills, vaguely have a few points of everyone’s style.

“What, heartbroken for your precious disciple?” The Blood Heavenly Dao Demon walked to my side, followed my gaze, looked at Xi Da Long, and asked with a smile.

“He’s not my apprentice, I wouldn’t dare take credit from you.” I smiled, “I just came to see how his progress has been lately.”

“This brat, he really got lucky, to be able to obtain your favor.” The Blood Heavenly Dao Demon said with a smile, “However, don’t be too happy, although this kid has a bit of talent, if he wants to become a truly strong person, he still needs to go through some bloody trials and tribulations before he can do so.”

“This, I don’t need your old man to worry about.” I said with a smile, “I’m sure that he will become your favorite student.”

“Let’s hope so.” The Blood Heavenly Dao Demon said indifferently, but his tone carried a hint of anticipation that he himself did not even notice.

We made some small talk and got down to business.

“Say, you kid, what is it that you’ve come to find me this time?” The Blood Heavenly Dao Demon looked at me and said with a smile.

“I would like to ask you to do me a favor.” I looked at the Blood Heavenly Dao Demon and said in a sincere tone.

“Say, what is it?” Blood Heavenly Dao Demon asked.

“I want to, unchain a person.” I looked at the Blood Heavenly Dao Demon and said word for word.

“Oh?” The Blood Heavenly Dao Fiend sniffed and immediately became interested, “Who is it that could make our Young Lord Ximen, go to such lengths?”

“He, who is beside Sect Leader Windy Sky.” I said.

“What?!” The Blood Heavenly Dao Demon was shocked when he heard this, “Are you …… you crazy? You actually want to hit the Windy Sky Sect?!”

“You take it easy for a moment, listen to me slowly.” I said in a hurry.

“You say it, you say it, I’m listening.” The Blood Heavenly Dao Demon took a deep breath, forcibly suppressing the shock and anger in his heart, and said.

“I want him, to be my warlord.” I looked at the Blood Heavenly Dao Demon and said word for word.
