Chapter 6: Hated Again
by Jessie@AFNCCI’m afraid this marvelous sense of image is something he will never forget in his life.
And the crisis has not been lifted.
“Say!”
Takahashi Mito said with a sharp voice.
The force of the foot on his chest also increased violently.
He coughed, following up against this squeezing feeling in his chest, and spoke, “Hello, my name is Natsuki Arai, and I’m a senior just like you.”
Takahashi Mito’s condescending sight made him feel overwhelmed.
For him, Takahashi Mito definitely didn’t harbor an ounce of goodwill.
“You followed me?”
Takahashi Mito still stepped on him.
Aoi Natsuki could only make sure to spread his hands flat as much as possible, appearing as harmless as possible, and unlike when he was dealing with Rinoa, he couldn’t think of a coping strategy in his mind right now in the face of this girl in front of him.
“No, uh …… sort of, just happened to see you in the garage so I followed you over.”
Hearing that, the sense of displeasure in Takahashi Midu’s eyes intensified considerably.
She didn’t know why, all she knew was that she hated the boy in front of her.
More disgusting than any other male.
So disgusted that she found even stepping on him a disgusting physical contact.
With that, she retracted her foot, and the squeezing sensation in Natsuki Aoi’s chest instantly disappeared, feeling better all of a sudden.
“So you saw the whole thing?”
Every word was a question, more like an unforgiving interrogation, and Natsuki Aoi answered truthfully.
If this situation continues, I believe it will only drag the situation into an increasingly unfavorable position.
He wasn’t an expert in relationship science, and he himself was just a white guy who had been in a relationship for a while, and now he was just blindly answering the other guy’s questions.
While he didn’t understand the outcome of the continuation, it certainly wouldn’t be an ending that would allow the other to let his guard down.
It was in this all-or-nothing situation that suddenly something occurred to him.
In the next half second, he opened the system panel with his consciousness and pulled up a dialog box.
That Divine Maiden from before said that she had given him two special abilities.
The first item is an eye that can see the opponent’s level as well as their favorability.
And there’s a second one after that.
Aoi Natsuki looked at the dialog box in front of her and quickly typed in a name with her consciousness.
A rotating progress bar then appears in the center of the dialog box.
This one ability is a special ability given to him so that he can raid girls more easily.
Just type a girl’s name in the dialog box, think in your head what the other person looks like so that there is no object bias, and finally the system will tell you a keyword.
And this keyword is the best option that can boost the goodwill of the other person at the current stage.
But this keyword prompt can be ambiguous at times and requires full personal understanding and bold judgment.
That’s what it says at the top of the dialog box.
“Boring relationships are boring, use this special ability to show me the best process of love!”
The spinning progress bar of the system dialog box stops.
The next second, a keyword popped up.
“Trust.”
This is the best option to boost favorability with Takahashi Mito at the moment.
This special ability could only be used once a day, and it was labeled with a small line underneath.
(Not restricted to female use only.)
Of course Aoi Natsuki also understands the meaning of this small word, it is not wanting him to have anything improper with males, but at times, rather than striking out on his own, letting the person next to him make a side attack will be more effective, expanding one’s circle of friends, not only female goodwill, but also the goodwill of males is just as important.
Just …… don’t boost it too high either and you’ll be right.
Looking at this keyword of the word 「trust」, Aoi Natsuki was thankful at this moment, fortunately he had just heard the whole thing himself, so he understood what the direction of trust was.
Takahashi Mito showed extreme displeasure at the silence that had once again fallen upon him.
When he was about to open his mouth to threaten two more times, Aoi Natsuki finally did speak.
“I heard all of the conversation earlier.” He slowly raised his head, “You’re not at fault in any way, it’s only those guys that are at fault.”
“Heh, is that what you call a desire to survive?” Takahashi Mitsuru thought he was telling a lie.
After Aoi Natsuki calmed down, she slowly shook her head, “After all, if it were me, I probably wouldn’t even give compensation, the feeling of being wrongly accused and misunderstood is too unpleasant, I saw what happened in the afternoon.”
“What?” Takahashi Mito remained wary.
“In the third period of the afternoon, in gym class, I saw you when you passed by the playground, everyone stayed away from you, I think they also heard about what happened to you before, didn’t they? Obviously it’s fake, but it’s misunderstood by so many students, I’m afraid I’m the only one who can understand such feelings.”
Natsuki Aoi sat up and began to dust himself off.
Takahashi Mito heard helplessness in his tone, but she felt it was just a ploy by the boy in front of her, and the contempt at the corners of her mouth increased, “What can you understand?”
“I know you don’t believe me, but if you have the time, go back online and go to our school forum, search my name, and reiterate once again that my name is Natsuki Aoi, and then you’ll know what it’s all about.”
Instead of explaining it to her here, it would be better for her to witness it to increase the feeling of empathy even more.
People who are in the same boat tend to be more able to boost each other’s favor.
It’s just that -100 favorability is a bit low.
At this point Takahashi Mito didn’t say another word, obviously she was thinking, and after a few seconds of silence from both sides, she finally made a move.
Walking over to the corner of the wall, he bent down and picked up his backpack, turned and left.
But she didn’t take two steps before she stood still, a huge sense of curiosity still making her want to ask one more question.
“Do you really believe I didn’t do it?”
The importance of trust comes to the fore.
It’s a nice touch to be understood by someone after a long period of false accusations, even if that person is a guy you extremely hate.
“Well, I can see that you’re right.”
As soon as the words left his mouth, that familiar system tone came back.
“Favorability +1”
Just Plus One? ……
Aoi Natsuki was confused, was it that hard to boost?
But before he could respond, another system tone knocked him to the bottom again.
“Favorability-1.”
The favorability value is back to -100 again.
“What I hate the most is flattery boys like you, don’t appear in front of me in the future!” Takahashi Midu tsked and glanced at him with extreme disgust, then disappeared around the corner not far away with her bag.
Sitting on the ground, Aoi Natsuki’s entire body froze.
It’s true what they say, someone you hate, even if they breathe in front of you, you’ll think they’re wrong.
How is this supposed to end ……
