Chapter 59 – Fireworks Festival, All Gathered Together
by Jessie@AFNCCThe two of them cried tears of joy for the day for a long time, tissues were piled up in a small mountain on the table, and Leena’s nose was red from crying as she slowly disengaged from the embrace.
Aoi Natsuki gently straightened her messy bangs and was about to instruct her to take a bath first when Rina picked up the writing pad on the table and wrote down a few words quickly.
Aoi Natsuki was curious, but she was shocked when she saw what was on the writing board.
“Dad?”
“No, no, no, no, no, I’m not your father, there’s no way for me to be your father even if I’m twenty years older at this age, in terms of relationship then, I should be your older brother.” Aoi Natsuki hurriedly explained.
At the legal level, if a man wants to adopt a girl, the minimum requirement is that the age difference between the two parties is more than thirty-five years old, followed by work and evaluation by friends and relatives, etc. Age will be the first red line.
Lina froze at that and continued to write on her writing pad, “Onii-chan?”
“Yes, I’m your Oni-chan, yo.” Aoi Natsuki said with a slight smile.
Surprise appeared on Lina’s face immediately afterward, and she turned to fling herself into his arms again, the scent of jasmine-scented shampoo hitting her nose.
“Well, it’s almost nine o’clock, go to bed early.”
“Awwwwwww!”
Lina answered with a narrow-eyed smile.
Natsuki Aoi carried her to the ground and put on her cotton slippers, then he was ready to go upstairs to his room to sleep as well, tonight’s events had really consumed too many of his brain cells, and he was in desperate need of sleep right now.
“Awwwwwww!”
Lina suddenly yelled behind her.
Natsuki Arai stopped in her tracks and looked back.
Only Lina’s right hand pointed towards the balcony window, out of which Jijang was constantly going back and forth down the wooden hallway, her large tail wagging constantly.
Aoi Natsuki thought about it, and then opened the weather on his cell phone, it’s already 3 degrees Well, the cold air is also gradually coming it, I believe that in less than a month, it should be snowing.
“Okay, just let Yoshi-sauce come into the living room and sleep, and Lina, that blanket it slept on before take it out and lay it down, and I’ll leave you to it.”
“Awww!” Lina suddenly stood up straight and saluted at Natsuki in a cute manner.
Aoi Natsuki also turned around and left the dining room, going straight up to the second floor, ready to wash up and go back to bed.
It wasn’t until he lay down on his bed that he habitually opened his cell phone on his locker to see if there were any important text messages, and that’s when he realized that Dragon Sakura had sent him a message.
When he opened it, his expression was stunned with it.
“Can you come with me to the fireworks festival in two days?”
Concise and to the point.
Aoi Natsuki was a bit puzzled, she was thinking of asking how she could still go with this injury, but this kind of talk sounded as if she was going to accept her request, and Aoi Natsuki had promised Hayakawa before, so as much as possible, she didn’t want to go and cause too many misunderstandings.
And then replied with this:
“I’m sorry, I already have an appointment that day.”
He also did not ask something like how is your foot injury in his reply, because the result of such caring words are inevitable, just two days have passed, do you expect her to recover as before? Why say so much when it’s impossible? Aoi Natsuki always felt that less said is less wrong in communication with the opposite sex.
With that he lay back down on his bed, and with no more texts from the other man, he slowly drifted off to sleep.
……
Two days later.
The appointed day for the fireworks festival had finally arrived.
Aoi Natsuki took Rina to the location early in the morning, which was by a riverbank, with many stalls selling different snacks, and the passersby slowly became more and more as the night fell.
Once more people lively atmosphere is also baked out, the whole environment is no longer feel the cold, walking in the crowd can also feel the slightest warmth.
Aoi Natsuki pulled Rina along and bought her skewers of croquettes, which she ate with gusto, and with Hayakawa in a text message about the location, they soon arrived at a bridge.
The sky is occasionally lit by a few home-prepared fireworks that appear at first glance.
Aoi Natsuki slowly raised her head, a girl in a yukata was currently standing on the bridge.
The pale orange yukata was slightly plain, with a goldfish design on it, her hair looked like it had been carefully groomed, her face was slightly lightly made up, and her gaze was far off in the direction of the river’s downstream, with the occasional flash of a bright light.
So beautiful ……
This is what Natsuki Aoi commented in his mind.
“Hayakawa!”
He called out the other man’s name.
Hayakawa Keiko on the bridge froze, and when she turned her head she saw Natsuki under the bridge, and even though she had prepared for it early in her mind, when she actually met it, her cheeks turned red rapidly, and her whole head started to sink again.
“Cheer up! I’m the best today!”
The inspiring voice of her brother before she left reached her mind again, and a strength of conviction slowly grew in her heart.
Her hands couldn’t help but clench, and she eventually just raised her head again, which had just been slightly underneath, and her eyes locked with Natsuki Aoi’s under the bridge.
Followed by.
Waving a friendly hello at him.
The smile that spreads across his face unconsciously is refreshing to the passers-by who notice it.
……
“Sister, you yourself want to come here nonetheless drag me here for what ah! I still have a lot of things to do!”
“Okay, okay, okay, I’ll make it up to you later, just once, just once today.”
Takahashi Mito kept persuading Ayano, and the two of them similarly came by the riverbank where the fireworks festival was located, and Ayano didn’t know what her sister was thinking, obviously she didn’t like to watch fireworks either, and she hadn’t gone to any of the fireworks festivals that had been held every few months for the last few years, but this time it was just a relatively small-scale Tokyo fireworks festival, but it was a bit strange that she was dragged out instead.
And in terms of status, my sister also acted peculiarly, always giving off a sneaky vibe.
“I don’t think ……” Ayano’s clever little brain started to move, slowly narrowing her eyes, “Aoi Natsuki will come to this fireworks festival too …… Tell me the truth!”
Immediately being guessed by Ayano, a flash of panic flashed across Takahashi Midu’s face, but it was quickly hidden, “Don’t guess, I’m simply bringing you out to see what’s going on, staying home all the time is going to make you sick!”
Takahashi Mito said in a serious manner, and Ayano’s eyes almost narrowed into slits as she stared at her.
“Sister …… are you really attached to that boy …… lately you’ve been in an unusual state, I’ve never seen you do anything for any boy before, you even went to his house the other day, sister. You’ve changed ……”
Ayano’s puzzled little eyes looked at her sister, gradually conceptualizing all the possibilities in her brain, until she caught a fleeting, averted glance at her sister, and an incredibly bold thought gradually arose within her.
“You!”
“……” Takahashi Midu stared at her and panicked.
“Sister you!”
No, don’t say it!
“You couldn’t have been transformed by aliens!”
“……”
Eh?
