    Chapter Index

    Criminal detention!

The palm of his hand slapped on his head, it seemed that he had been in a bit of a hurry to accomplish his mission.

He took a deep breath, the mid-October climate had dropped dramatically, and a cold breath into his belly was as refreshing as eating a mint.

Opening the door, he stepped into the courtyard, then opened the entryway door, changed into his indoor shoes, and led the way into the kitchen, carrying a large bag of supplies.

For lunch, he planned to stew a pot of braised pork with the superior rice that his grandfather had sent from the countryside some days ago, and just thinking about the flavor made his mouth accelerate its secretion of saliva.

He put on his apron and plugged in the steamer while he started working on the frozen pork in the freezer.

Five minutes later, a drizzle began to fall outside the window.

Aoi Natsuki raised her eyes to look out the window, what should have been the best sunny midday had become overcast by now.

The knife cutting the meat paused.

Somehow, he couldn’t help but think of the little girl he had just seen in front of the convenience store.

“I wonder if she’s gone home already.” Aoi Natsuki thought to herself.

But on second thought, wearing such old clothes, and that face looks like it hasn’t been washed in a few days, would ……

His eyes looked out the window.

After a moment’s thought, there was still some concern.

Before crossing over, he was just an ordinary person, not bad or good, just like the general public, he would have compassion when he saw some people in need.

It was once a popular saying that even though you are living a miserable life, you are still willing to help those who are struggling to make ends meet.

Maybe that’s what’s so endearing about ordinary people.

Natsuki Arai put the pork in the pan first, then washed her hands, turned and took over her apron, walked to the entranceway, drew an umbrella, and um ……

    Let’s smoke another one.

Raising his umbrella, he walked out of the yard and had just opened the front door when, much to his surprise, the seven or eight year old girl was magically standing right under the eaves of the front door of his house.

    Natsuki Aoi was shocked.

At the same time the other party showed a shocked look.

Apparently she had just found a random spot to get out of the rain and hadn’t even expected it to be his home.

Aoi Natsuki saw that there was still residual cream sauce at the corner of her mouth, and the two of them looked at each other.

    Until five seconds later.

The little girl subconsciously protected her body with her hands and retreated all the way to the stone pillar behind her.

This negative favoritism is too much, just how poor and vicious he looks!

This was something he had been constantly looking at himself in the mirror for the past few days asking himself why he was hated by the entire female population when he clearly had a good-looking face, and it was still an unsolved mystery to this day.

“Don’t be nervous, this is my house, I promise I won’t come near you, it’s just that it’s raining outside and the temperature is going to get colder, so if you don’t mind, sit in my house for a while.”

Aoi Natsuki tried to show a warm smile like a big brother.

    Just ……

The results were not very dramatic.

But no favorability alerts popped up either, so does that mean she agrees with herself.

The little girl didn’t answer, her collarbones frozen red under her thin sweater, her whole little body shivering.

Aoi Natsuki then walked through the front door and went all the way to the entrance of the foyer before the little girl dared to cautiously poke her head through the doorway.

He continued to back up, retreating to the living room before the little girl stepped into the yard.

The picture looks a little comedic.

There seemed to be an invisible barrier between the two.

Finally, the two reached a nice peaceful distance.

Little girl in the dining room.

And with his apron, he continued cooking in the kitchen with its closed glass doors.

The dining room was connected to the living room, and the room was still warmer, as the little girl’s body gradually warmed up.

    “Favorability +2”

    “Favorability +2”

The corners of Aoi Natsuki’s mouth turned up as she was cooking, at least this was good news.

The distance of strangeness was hard to remove, so after he finished making the red meat, he just took out one of the few portions and served it on a plate, then opened the glass door and put the plate on the floor, closing the door afterward.

Giving the little girl a sign with her finger, only to hear a crisp locking sound, Aoi Natsuki stopped caring about what was happening outside and found a plastic bucket, turned it over and used it as a stool, then ate her meal on the tabletops.

His head was now just going to start thinking hard about going to school tomorrow.

Finding S-class girls is still a top priority na.

    Bang, bang, bang–

A faint knock interrupted his thoughts.

He turned his head to look.

The little girl was standing in front of the glass door, her finger pointing to the lock of the locked kitchen door inside.

Is this …… her willingness to dine with herself?

Natsuki Aoi stared at the top of her head.

In addition to that rare red A grade, the favorability value also came to -27 during this time.

Is it at least possible to chat and talk normally in a space within this value?

    Wow!

Think about how it feels bleak instead.

Aoi Natsuki shook his head helplessly and turned to get up and walk towards the glass door, as he approached, the little girl quickly stepped back as well, the invisible barrier reappearing.

Only this time, the two were finally sort of in the same space.

The little girl’s fingers trembled as she pointed to the living room.

Aoi Natsuki also realized what she meant, if he was really plotting against her, the dining room was much closer to the front door, so it seemed like she was still holding a great deal of insecurity about herself.

    He did it anyway.

It’s not unusual to eat in the living room.

As much as possible, don’t pay too much attention to the other person, as this will only cause discomfort and resentment.

Ten minutes later, the meal was also finished, and Aoi Natsuki felt that she should also talk to the little girl for a couple of minutes.

Then he turned his head and realized that the little girl was sitting backwards on the bench, her eyes looking straight up at him.

The moment the contact was made, the little girl hastily averted her eyes, escaped the chair, and went around behind the long table.

Err …… have to not be so sensitive.

“Can you …… tell big brother your situation? Big brother can help you contact your family oh.”

Natsuki Aoi smiled again with a smile she felt warm.

    “……”

    The little girl didn’t answer.

There was no look of concern or unhappiness or happiness on his face.

Just staring at him with wide eyes, blinking occasionally.

It’s at least elementary school no matter how you look at it.

Natsuki Aoi spoke again, “Is the burger …… good? Or is the red meat good?”

At the mention of this, the little girl looked like she understood.

But instead of opening her mouth to speak, she used a language of communication that Aoi Natsuki was surprised by.

She compared sign language in front of him.

At that moment, the whole house was quiet.

The boy, it seems, …… can’t talk.
