    Chapter Index

Cheng Ming and Lin Jingyi collected their umbrellas and walked into the corridor of the stores on the street.

There are quite a few people sheltering from the rain here, and there are even elderly people playing chess.

It was raining hard, but the hallway was small, and the rain splashed most of it.

The two could only hide in the innermost part of the corridor, with their backs against the wall, and not wanting to disturb the business of the store, they crouched down, their bodies close together, occupying the smallest area possible.

Sellers who know how to do business also put umbrellas out on the porch on rainy days for dodgers who can’t wait for the rain to stop.

In fact, Cheng Ming had money in his pocket and could have gone to buy an umbrella, but he wouldn’t say that, much less do that.

This kind of operation similar to the reject option in the American Girl Raider game was impossible for Cheng Ming to use on Jing.

Cheng Ming took off his school bag and placed it on the ground, while Lin Jingyi wrung out the corner of her wet clothes, and the wet school uniform looked a bit see-through. But that was about it, no deeper benefits could be seen.

It was pouring outside and the light was dim.

It wasn’t even time yet, so naturally the streetlights couldn’t be lit in advance, so Cheng Ming and Lin Jingyi could almost only rely on the lights projected outside the store to illuminate them.

“This rain is so sudden, it’s obvious that it hasn’t rained for almost a month, and my shoes are wet, it’s so hard.” Lin Jingyi complained with her hands on her legs, her chin resting on her knees, her paws wobbling back and forth, her wet shoes and socks were sticky and uncomfortable.

Lin Jingyi even had an urge to take her shoes and socks off and go barefoot.

“After all, summer’s coming up… this kind of rain is going to get more and more frequent.”

“Then you still don’t have an umbrella.”

“I was betting that it wouldn’t rain today and I missed.”

If you bring an umbrella how else are you going to hold the same umbrella with you.

“Idiot, so aren’t you sure you’re going to miss one day? It’s not like it won’t rain for the rest of your life.”

“But you still have Jing Jing, you always bring an umbrella no matter if it’s sunny or rainy.”

That’s where girls come in, boys always feel weirdly pampered with umbrellas on sunny days.

Teenagers are always concerned about the stares around them, preferring to bask in the sun rather than be laughed at by their peers, and even more so, not to be seen in this light by the girls they like.

“Feelings I am a tool man with an umbrella ah, but we can’t stay together all the time, you’d better carry an umbrella honestly in the future than the price is good.”

“What? So Jing Jing doesn’t want to stay with me?” Cheng Ming deliberately said in a lost tone, his body slightly piggybacking a small step to the side.

Cheng Ming’s small and subtle movements made Lin Jingyi anxious, her body pressed over and she explained in a panic:

“What are you saying all of a sudden, I don’t mean that la, I mean …… we can’t stay together all the time, there’s always a time when we’re not together.”

“So that’s what it means, it scared me.”

Steady as an old dog, Cheng Ming patted his chest and pretended to be relieved.

“Really, which one do you think it means otherwise.”

“Jing Jing, I was actually too lazy to bring an umbrella.” Cheng Ming said in a serious manner.

“I knew it, you usually don’t even bring home books, and you said that kind of thing on purpose to scare me.”

Annoyed, Lin Jingyi waved her small fists and hit Cheng Ming’s arm to vent her anger.

Wearing wet clothes on her body, with the strong wind mixed with rain blowing on her face, Lin Jingyi was so cold that she was shivering, and it was not a good thing to continue hiding.

“The rain seems to have gotten a little lighter, and the streetlights are on, let’s go back.” Cheng Ming patted Lin Jingyi’s shoulder and picked up his book bag to get up.

Lin Jingyi snapped to attention and said, “Xiao Ming, does Xiao Li have an umbrella with her? Should we go pick her up?”

Completely oblivious to the fact that the two of them were in a state of self-preservation.

“She’s just like you, she doesn’t leave her umbrella alone. If she didn’t come home after school for a while, my mom would pick her up too.”

When I came to the fork in the road, the rain hadn’t stopped, go left or go right.

“Why don’t we go to my house first?” Cheng Ming suggested.

    “Uh-huh.” Lin Jingyi nodded furtively.

Perhaps it was because Chen ZiYi had also met Cheng Ming over the weekend, which gave her the idea of defying the odds as well… why should a childhood friend have to lose?

Cheng Ming on his side had other things on his mind, he was definitely going to go over to the old street tomorrow to deal with Huang Yong’s family with Sister Shen Xiaoxiao, pulling Jing over to give her sister a companion.

Don’t look at the two people all day quarrel fierce, fire and water incompatible look, play since childhood, if to say that the relationship is poor, in fact, can not be worse.

The foyer holds my sister’s little rain boots.

As soon as Cheng Ming entered the house, Cheng Li ran to the door to greet him, holding a folded paper boat in his hand, exuberantly shouting, “Brother, brother, it’s raining, let’s go to the roof together and play with the boat.”

My sister still loves rainy days and likes to lie on her back and look out the window filled with rain drops.

Assuming, of course, that it doesn’t thunder.

    “Excuse me.”

As soon as Cheng Li saw Lin Jingyi behind Cheng Ming, his smile froze on his face before he gradually smiled and asked with a dark face, “Brother, why is she here?”

“It’s not raining, I didn’t bring an umbrella, Jing Jing sent me home.”

“Oh, then you can leave, no farewell.” Cheng Li pointed at the door with his palm upward and said without mercy.

Lai Ying looked at Cheng Ming and Lin Jingyi in the doorway, covered in water stains from head to toe, and asked in surprise, “Why are you two wet like this?”

“The umbrella was small enough for two people to hold, and it turned out to be as good as no umbrella at all.”

The light in the house was sufficient, Lin Jingyi’s school uniform was very wet and transparent, Cheng Ming could vaguely see her pink bra.

“What are you guys still standing around for, hurry up and go change your clothes, wipe your hair clean too, quick quick quick, don’t catch a cold.” Lai Ying said in hindsight, hurriedly pulling Lin Jingyi into the house to change her clothes.

“Brother, you should hurry up and get changed too! Then come with me to release the paper boat.”

Cheng Li dragged Cheng Ming back to his bedroom, opened the closet, and casually threw a piece of clothing at him, pulling up the corner of his coat and urging, “Hurry hurry hurry.”

Cheng Ming bent down and managed to wrestle his head out, naked, his fifteen or sixteen year old body slim and fair-skinned.

There were no angular muscle lines or healthy, handsome bronzed skin, and the ribs were clearly visible.

Cheng Ming’s hand was placed on the waist of his pants as he looked at the sister in front of him, and his movements froze.

“Leigh, can you go outside for a minute, I’m going to take my pants off.”

“Come on, you’re a big man and you’re still shy, it’s not like I haven’t seen it before.”

Cheng Li made a gesture to help Cheng Ming take off his pants.

Cheng Ming grabbed his sister’s hand and ignored her objections, and forcefully threw her out.

“What for! I’m not going out, I’m not going out ……”

Both pants are wet, Cheng Ming still want to change pants to come, he can’t walk the bird to play in front of his sister even if he has a big heart.

Cheng Ming, who had changed his clothes, was pulled to the roof of the building by his excited sister, while Lin Jingyi silently followed behind.

The drainage system of the building where Cheng Ming lives is not done properly.

If it rains too much, the semi-open roof can hold water.

Cheng Ming casually turned on the electric light on the eaves of the house, and the rain fell on the standing water, causing ripples to appear one after another.

    “Sharknado charge me!”

Cheng Li put the paper boat with eyes painted on it to the edge of the water.

The crackling rain battered the boat from side to side, and before it could swim a meter, the rain-filled boat sank.

Cheng Li lost his head and said, “Ah, good dish, brother, quickly fold the paper boat for me.”

Cheng Ming took the homework book in his sister’s hand and took a closer look at it, which still had his name written on it.

Cheng Ming directly tore the homework book in half and divided half of it to Jing.

“Jing Jing come and fold paper boats for fun too, I remember you were good at folding paper boats and paper cranes.”

    “Not really.”

“Hmph, the paper boat you folded must have sunk right away.” Cheng Li said with a cold snort.

For every paper boat that Cheng Ming and Lin Jingyi folded, they were put into the water and sunk by Cheng Li.

Cheng Li also folded a paper airplane, pinched the tip of the airplane, took a breath of hot air in his mouth, and then threw and flew out, disappearing into the night rain.

The last two remaining paper boats were made from the skin of the workbook, which was yellow leather paper, and was considerably stronger than the white paper Cheng Ming had used.

Coupled with the lightening rain, the two paper boats had a bumpy ride and crashed together halfway across the river, but swam out without incident.

    “Yeah!”

    “It worked.”

Cheng Li and Lin Jingyi subconsciously high-fived in congratulations.

“The two of you are really close, aren’t you?” Cheng Ming said with a smile.

“It’s only bad, I’m going back.”

Cheng Li quickly ran down the stairs, and even spat her little tongue out at Lin Jingyi Tu as she walked around the corner.

“I don’t know when, but Ri1 has hated my looks, does Kotomine know why? Did I do something to make Xiao Li hate me?” Lin Jingyi rested her hands on her cheeks and asked in a puzzled manner.

“That’s probably because of me, Ri she’s afraid you’ll steal me as a brother.”

“Ah, so that’s how it is, I never thought of that, Rhi she doesn’t have many friends after all, does she?”

    Then it’s the enemy.

Lin Jingyi said silently in her heart, while Cheng Ming’s side was trying to make her sister and Zhao Ren become good friends, so that she would not repeat the mistakes of her previous life if she was less dependent on herself.

The perfect plan, probably, Cheng Ming is actually quite bottomless in his heart.
