    Chapter Index

Zhou Li in the break between classes to inform the afternoon study sessions and class meetings held in advance of the New Year’s Day party, the class spontaneously applauded in favor.

Originally held at 7:00 p.m. and moved up to 4:00 p.m., the task of setting up the party will be heavier.

The earlier you meet in the classroom at lunch break, the better, especially for boys.

Whether it’s blowing up balloons or hanging them or something like that, it’s up to the boys.

Cheng Ming, as the vice class president, or a boy, had to take the lead.

“Everyone try to get to the classroom early to help out, I’ll be there by twelve thirty.” Cheng Ming said by example.

On the way out of school, Chen Ziyi poked Cheng Ming’s arm and said, “I can’t see it, you’re actually so responsible, are you doing it for that woman Zhou Li? Is she your next target?”

“Why are you still talking about this, what does it have to do with her, someone on the boys’ side needs to organize it, push and force it from behind, otherwise everyone will be too embarrassed to work hard.”

At the dinner table at home, Cheng Ming said, “I have to go to school right after dinner, there’s no way to send you guys to school, are you okay with that?”

“Brother, what problem can we have, it’s not like we’re kindergarten kids, I’ll let Ren drive me on my bike, my bike is getting moldy.”

“Then I’ll help you air up the tires on that bike before I leave later, I’m guessing they’re all dried out.”

“Thank you brother, just waiting for you to say that.”

“Be careful on the road, don’t ride too fast, you can go out early, Ren, if you can’t carry this pig in my house, you can hold the bike and walk to school as well.”

    “I know.”

    Zhao Ren nodded obediently.

Cheng Li raised his foot and kicked Cheng Ming’s leg, pursuing, “Who are you calling a pig, brother?”

    “I’m a pig, I’m a pig all right?”

“Don’t chat during dinner, eat properly.” Li Ying snapped.

Cheng Ming and Cheng Li immediately shushed, but Cheng Li’s small movements under the table did not stop, do not kick strange places ah.

Cheng Ming had to clamp down on his sister’s small feet to prevent her from going further.

We all do their own work, finally before the classroom set up before the class, a look up is the balloons and ribbons, very festive atmosphere, life committee members and students responsible for purchasing also put.

Only in the first period, a large part of the class collapsed to catch up on their sleep. As soon as the second class started, everyone immediately recovered their spirits, moved their desks into a circle, leaving the center open, and closed the doors and windows tightly so as not to disturb the class next door.

Chen Ziyi asked Cheng Ming to help her move their table to Cheng Ming’s place and put it together with his table, Cheng Ming thought that her strength was not smaller than his own.

Class members distributed snacks, drinks and disposable colas, and Chen Ziyi wrote “Happy New Year’s Day” in big letters on the blackboard.

But with all this commotion, students from other classes had long ago swarmed in between classes and stood outside the windows to see what they were up to, while others played pranks by knocking on the doors and windows, greeting those who knew them well outside, and ignoring those who didn’t.

Someone was making a lot of noise out there and people couldn’t get into the groove of playing.

The group of students outside dispersed reluctantly only after the bell rang.

There was another knock on the door.

Zhou Li, who was in charge of hosting the party, was wondering who it was when a student leaning against the window shouted, “It’s the homeroom teacher.”

Weekley panicked and went to open the door.

The homeroom teacher, Li Dan, surveyed the classroom setup and asked slightly playfully, “Is it starting? I’m not late, am I? Is it okay to add me?”

“No problem, no problem, was just going to call you.”

Zhou Li pulls Li Dan up to the stage to deliver her speech.

“Everyone’s been waiting a long time, right? I’ll keep it short then, I hope you’re all having fun and enjoying yourself, and keep it down, the class next to you is in session.” Lidane’s finger went up to her lips and she ‘shushed’.

The small games are just like grabbing chairs, you draw and I guess, blindfolded painting, drumming, counting seven, all of them are very routine small games.

There was also a boy who suggested mouth tearing notes like this in hopes of playing with the girls.

    Weekley shot straight up.

    “Impure hetero s**t, forbidden!”

But Cheng Ming thought it was fun, boys playing with boys and girls playing with girls would be fine.

“Then you play with him.” Weekley said with a stern face.

    “That’s better.”

Cheng Ming didn’t have that interest, he just wanted to see girls posting.

The prizes for the trivia game were notebooks, signing pens, and some leftover snacks that were handed out.

Most of the games were voluntary, but to motivate everyone and get them into the swing of things, the first one to start was drumming and everyone had to participate.

Flowers for small props are passed from the classroom teacher.

Whoever had the flower in their hand when the applause stopped had to go on stage and perform a program and receive a prize.

But no one wanted to go on stage, except for a few talented people, the rest were unprepared, and the small props were like bombs in their hands, not wanting to stay in their hands for more than a moment.

This was exceptionally obvious in the hands of Xu Juan, who was usually always expressionless, looked a little flustered between her eyebrows, and immediately raced to Cheng Ming after receiving the ball from Chen Ziyi.

But sitting with girls comes with a price, and Chen Zi Yi and Xu Juan getting hit is the same as Cheng Ming getting hit.

The moment Xu Juan handed Cheng Ming the small prop, the applause stopped.

“Xiao Ming, it’s time for you to perform, get on.” Chen Ziyi urged.

Putting Xu Juan in the ring is a complete no-no.

When she was asked a question in class, she just stood up and didn’t say anything, and the teacher had to make her sit down. Over time, she was no longer named to answer questions.

If she came on and just stood there stupidly, not saying a word, the atmosphere that had been so hard to liven up would be awkward, so it could only be Cheng Ming who went on.

But Cheng Ming doesn’t seem to have any talent other than playing games.

Cheng Ming came to the middle of the classroom with his language book and said, “It’s the final exam soon, so I’m going to read an ancient poem aloud to everyone to help you revise, so don’t thank me if you get a good press.”

Everyone in the class called out the devil, and Zhou Li was directly exasperated by Cheng Ming.

“He’s the only one who can do such a thing.” Chen Ziyi sighed as she rubbed her eyebrows.

The corners of Xu Juan’s mouth curved up slightly and immediately returned to their original shape.

The commotion is a little less in the beginning, but people can’t stop playing when they get high.

A dark-faced teacher knocked on the window; it was the director of instruction.

The homeroom teacher rushed out and bowed his head in apology and came back to tell them to keep it down.

After the third period there was another crowd of other students, not just classes on the same floor.

Even other classes and classes from other years come to have a look.

This time it’s really a whole lot of news.

The whole building became noisy during homeroom, and all the classes went into a pre-New Year’s Day holiday frenzy, starting to set up their classrooms or playing around, and none of them were quiet anyway.

The school administration has no intention of stopping it, and it can’t be stopped.

At the end of the evening, the bold students stomped the balloons with a ‘pop’, scaring the girls who were caught off guard and screaming.

Others plan to take the balloons home as a souvenir.

Cleaned up the classroom with the duty student, set the desks back up, turned off the lights, locked the doors, and left only ‘Happy New Year’s Day’ on the blackboard.

The next time I return to this classroom will be a new year.
